It's summer and we need something sweet and fresh!
This icecream contains no dairies, no sugar. Yet it tastes like heaven. The best Slow Food!
WHAT YOU NEED
For 4 servings approximately.
First, always prefer organic ingredients. Not only they are healthier, but they taste better.
You’ll need a blender, preferably of ‘Mix and Go’ type ; and an ice cube tray
Coconut cream: one can
Avocado: 1,5 avocados, peeled, sliced
Dried apricots or dates: 1 (or 2 cups if you like sweets)
Filtered water: 1 glass
Almond milk: 1 glass
Fruits for the garnish
HOW TO CREATE YOUR RECIPE:
• Put the apricots or dates in the water for 10 minute so that they soften
• Then blend the apricots/dates, the avocado, the coconut cream for at least 1 minute
• Pour the mix in the ice cube tray, deep freeze for at least 3 hours
• Whenever you feel like to have ice-cream: put the frozen cubes in the blender, add the almond milk, blend.
Then pour in a bowl (of course we recommend our slow bowls), garnish why sliced fruits of your choice, and serve.
If you like to be creative you can add lots of different things in your mix. Before or after blending: any kind of nuts including cashews, dried or fresh fruits, spices like vanilla or cinnamon. It’s so easy to make that you can experiment like a chef!
Other variation: instead of making cream you can directly pour the mix into popsicles.
